Toyota 4Runner Tire Replacement – Manhattan Beach Driver Saved Time & Money with Service Buddy

2019 Toyota 4Runner📍 Manhattan Beach, California

A Manhattan Beach driver received an $1,630 quote for tire replacement, cabin air filter, and brake service on their Toyota 4Runner. Using Service Buddy, they identified excessive charges—especially $240 labor for tire mounting and $150 for alignment—unusually high compared to local independent shops. The platform helped the driver find trusted mechanics offering the same services at significantly lower rates, saving both time and money on necessary repairs.

Expert Advice

Based on our analysis, the original quote seems to be quite high, especially for tire mounting, installation, balancing, and alignment, compared to what independent mechanics typically charge. Additionally, the cost for the cabin air filter is much higher than a simple DIY fix. I recommend seeking detailed quotes from local independent shops to potentially find better value for these services.
