Toyota 4Runner Tire Installation & Alignment – DC Driver Saved Time & Money with Service Buddy

2019 Toyota 4Runner📍 Washington, District of Columbia

A DC driver with a Toyota 4Runner used Service Buddy to review an $1,700+ quote for tire installation, four-wheel alignment, front brake service, and a cabin air filter replacement. Service Buddy identified potential savings of around $1,400 by comparing prices from local independent shops offering the same services at significantly lower labor and parts costs. This helped the driver avoid overpriced charges and find better value options nearby.

Expert Advice

The original quote is generally higher than what you’d find at independent shops, particularly for tire mounting, four-wheel alignment, and front brake work, suggesting you could save around $1,400 by exploring other options. Additionally, the cabin air filter price appears inflated. I recommend seeking detailed estimates to ensure you're getting the best value for your services.
