Expert Advice

Hey there! After taking a good look at your original quote, I must say it does seem a bit higher than what I typically see at independent shops, particularly for the cylinder head gasket work. In our experience, it’s always a good idea to explore options, especially if you can find a mechanic who can offer you a more competitive rate. If you’re comfortable doing so, I recommend checking out a few local independent mechanics to get some quotes. They might provide you with more budget-friendly options for the same work. Remember, it’s always wise to get a second opinion, especially for bigger jobs! You never know what you might find. Just make sure to ask how long they expect the repairs to take and what sort of warranty they offer on their work. You deserve to feel confident in whatever decision you make. Good luck!
