1. BRAKE LINES New

• Analysis: This is very high for parts. Even if this refers to a complete set of stainless brake lines for all wheels, most aftermarket or even OE-quality kits for your Buick should run $50–$150, not anywhere near $850. Even if this were individual OEM lines, the cost is excessive.
• Advice: Ask for an itemized breakdown. Unless they’re including all lines including labor (which isn’t clear), this looks like a massive markup or even a mistake. No reason for this to cost so much.
• Upsell? Most likely, or just an over-inflated price. Definitely get a second opinion.

2. R-R The brake lines rear left and rear right through to the ABS module

• Analysis: For just the parts, $525 is high. Based on your research, both lines together should be $40–$100 total for good aftermarket, maybe a little more for genuine, but not $525.
• Advice: This is another significantly marked-up price. Unless this includes specialized pre-bent OEM lines (rarely needed), it’s not justified.
• Upsell? Pricing looks like a major markup, not a legit upsell in terms of an unnecessary task, but way above reasonable rate.
