VW AUTOWERKS LLC

Situated at 4 Miller Road along the border of Baldwin Place and Mahopac, VW Autowerks LLC (often known to longtime local drivers as Last Chance Garage) serves as a specialized independent automotive service facility catering particularly to Volkswagen and Audi owners across northern Westchester and Putnam counties. Known for honest, knowledgeable assessments and meticulous craftsmanship, the garage delivers dealership-level expertise without the inflated dealership service pricing.

The workshop provides comprehensive diagnostic troubleshooting, regular maintenance, and major mechanical repair services. As a certified New York State vehicle inspection station, VW Autowerks handles safety and emissions compliance alongside routine oil and filter changes, brake pad and rotor services, battery testing, timing belt replacements, steering and suspension rebuilds, and axle work. In addition, the shop serves as an authorized local installation partner for major online tire retailers including Tire Rack and SimpleTire.

Helmed by veteran mechanic Chris, the team has built a dependable reputation for diagnosing stubborn electrical gremlins, resolving check engine warnings, and keeping both older European classics and modern turbo models operating smoothly. Area motorists consistently value their straightforward communication, accurate estimates, and uncompromising attention to detail.
