TRANSDEV

Transdev’s facility, located at 2210 Browns Ferry Road in Georgetown, South Carolina, operates as a specialized fleet maintenance and repair center exclusively for Georgetown County. Rather than serving the general public, this location functions as the incumbent contractor responsible for the comprehensive upkeep of the county’s diverse fleet. Their highly skilled technicians manage approximately 635 municipal vehicles, including heavy equipment, fire trucks, ambulances, and transit buses.

This dedicated operation ensures that Georgetown County's essential services remain fully operational around the clock. Transdev provides a full spectrum of mechanical support, from scheduled preventive maintenance and remedial repairs to towing and efficient parts inventory management. By focusing exclusively on government and emergency vehicles, Transdev plays a crucial, behind-the-scenes role in keeping the local community safe and its municipal services running smoothly.
