THE MOVEMENT MECHANIC

Although categorized in the system as an auto repair shop, The Movement Mechanic is actually a premier physical therapy and yoga therapy practice in San Diego, California. Led by Dr. Jenn Chang, DPT, the studio specializes in holistic healing, merging modern manual physical therapy with therapeutic yoga. Dr. Chang uses her extensive background in dance, biomechanics, and spine health to help clients overcome injuries and improve their overall well-being.

Located in the Carmel Valley area of San Diego, The Movement Mechanic operates as a hybrid virtual and in-person wellness space. The clinic provides individualized private sessions, community yoga workshops, and specialized training like adaptive yoga. Instead of tuning up cars, Dr. Chang focuses on 'tuning up' the human body's mechanics through mindful movement and personalized care.

Whether clients need injury recovery, improved flexibility, or chronic pain management, The Movement Mechanic stands out for its compassionate, highly tailored approach. Dr. Chang’s deep understanding of anatomy ensures that each patient receives the exact 'diagnostic and maintenance' plan they need to move joyfully and pain-free.
