STATE TO STATE AUTOMOTIVE

State to State Automotive LLC is an auto repair, collision, and towing facility located at 1332 Atlantic Avenue near the intersection of Nostrand Avenue in Brooklyn, New York. Operating out of a garage that previously housed A9's Automotive, the business has marketed itself as a 24-hour towing, roadside assistance, and collision repair center handling insurance claims and vehicle recovery across the borough.

However, the shop has become the subject of significant regulatory scrutiny, consumer complaints, and law enforcement action. Between 2025 and 2026, series of local news investigations, along with inquiries by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) and the NYPD, highlighted widespread customer allegations that the facility operated with a suspended or expired repair license, failed to complete paid repairs, and held customer vehicles for extended periods while accumulating thousands of dollars in municipal parking fines. Following the execution of an NYPD search warrant and vehicle recovery operations at the Atlantic Avenue facility, the shop's operational status remains heavily impacted by ongoing investigations and an 'F' rating from the Better Business Bureau.
