HAVE SCANNER WILL TRAVEL

Have Scanner Will Travel is a specialized mobile auto repair service operating out of Clemmons, North Carolina. Owned and operated by Jim Garrido—an ASE Certified Master Technician with L1 certification and over 23 years of experience as a GM technician—the business brings expert vehicle diagnostics directly to the customer's location. By offering on-site troubleshooting, this service eliminates the inconvenience and hefty costs associated with towing a non-starting vehicle or visiting a traditional repair shop.

The core strength of Have Scanner Will Travel lies in its advanced diagnostic capabilities. Equipped with professional-grade scanning equipment, Jim Garrido specializes in accurately identifying and resolving complex issues within a vehicle's electronic systems. Whether dealing with an illuminated check engine light, a tricky no-crank/no-start condition, or deep-rooted electrical malfunctions, the service focuses on precise, in-depth diagnostics to pinpoint the exact root cause of the problem rather than throwing parts at it.

Serving Clemmons, Winston-Salem, and the surrounding communities, Have Scanner Will Travel is the premier solution for individuals with busy schedules or vehicles that are unable to be driven. Jim's extensive background—including instructing diagnostic classes for the CARQUEST Technical Institute and previously serving as a board member for the Service Technician Society—ensures clients receive knowledgeable, top-tier automotive care without the hassle of a conventional garage visit.
