BUDGET MUFFLER BRAKE & ALIGNMENT

Budget Muffler Brake & Alignment (also known locally as Budget Muffler Brake & Automotive) has been an automotive repair staple in the San Diego community for over 70 years. Located conveniently on El Cajon Boulevard in the Talmadge neighborhood, this family-owned shop has built a long-standing reputation since 1950. Their ASE-certified technicians provide expert maintenance for both domestic and foreign vehicles, while making a special name for themselves in custom exhaust systems, including specialized work on lowriders and classic cars.

What makes this shop stand out is its ability to handle hard-to-source repairs with speed and efficiency. Locals particularly praise their rapid sourcing of high-demand components like catalytic converters, often offering next-day installation when competitors quote weeks. Beyond exhaust and emission services, they handle a full spectrum of repairs including brake installation, transmission rebuilds, suspension work, and engine diagnostics.

Whether it's an everyday commute vehicle or a specialty build, customers enjoy an honest approach to auto care. The shop features a comfortable waiting room and operates with a 'get-right-at-it' efficiency, ensuring that San Diego drivers spend less time in the shop and more time safely on the road.
