ADAMS REPAIR WORKS

Adams Repair Works is a long-standing fixture in the Baton Rouge automotive community, conveniently located at 3686 North St. Operating since 1958, this family-owned and operated repair shop has cultivated a solid reputation for offering honest, high-quality workmanship. The shop stands out for its deep expertise in engine rebuilding and cylinder-head work—including complex tasks like head gaskets, vacuum checks, resurfacing, and broken bolt removal—alongside comprehensive brake repairs and general automotive maintenance.

While they are not currently BBB Accredited, their long tenure and historical A+ rating reflect a commitment to keeping Baton Rouge drivers safely on the road. Many customers have praised the friendly, professional nature of the staff, often citing “Ms. Vicki” and “Greg” for their transparent communication regarding costs and repair timelines. However, as is typical with specialized engine work, some drivers have reported extended turnaround times, parts delays, and occasional communication gaps.
